In the base of the planters is a water reservoir which, depending on the model, can hold up to 26 litres of water and from which the plants can individually draw up moisture as they do in their natural habitat. The removable base screw allows excess water to drain out, preventing waterlogging. So plant care involves minimal effort – even during the holidays.

The timeless CUBICO all-rounder, with its understated charm, can be used anywhere and, with its large water reservoir, avoids any danger of plants drying out. The CUBICO Color 40, for example, has a water reservoir capacity of around 8 litres!
Do’s and don’ts before the holidays
If your well-earned holiday lasts a little longer than you planned, then you can ensure in advance that your plants at home won’t miss you too much. Faded flowers and yellow leaves steal energy. If they are removed before your holiday, your plants will use up much less water from the reservoir.
A change of location will also reduce your plants’ water requirements: the best place for planters that are usually in very sunny spots to relax while you’re away is in semi-shaded areas. All plants that like to grow tall also enjoy a little change of scenery. Positioned against the protection of the house wall and lightly fixed in place, they’ll come to no harm in summer storms.
