The purely mineral plant substrate LECHUZA-PON is the heart of the original LECHUZA irrigation system and the ideal plant substrate for your house plants. With its mineral components, it offers excellent drainage properties and thus ensures optimal root aeration. This means that waterlogging in the planter has no chance!
The special composition provides stable pH value and acts as a reservoir for water and nutrients, which are released back to the plants as needed and individually. To ensure that your houseplants appear lush green and stimulate growth, this potting mix is enriched with a long-term fertilizer This reliably supplies your plants with all the nutrients they need for 6 to 8 months.
This mineral potting mix for plants consists of high-quality zeolite, pumice and lava and remains stable in volume thanks to its special composition. Compared to soil, LECHUZA-PON does not compact or clump. Due to the purely mineral base, the substrate does not offer any room for fungi or pests such as fungus gnats. This makes it ideal for allergy sufferers. The substrate is peat-free for nature’s sake, making it the best choice for your houseplants.
Tips: After about six months it is time to fertilize the plants again. With slow-release and liquid fertilizers PERFECT LEAF, plants are supplied with sufficient nutrients and shine in their new greens. Ingredients: pumice, lava, zeolite, slow-release fertilizer Suitable for edible plants.

Classic system
Simply place the plant with LECHUZA-PON in the planter liner or directly in the planter.
LECHUZA planters consist of an external and an internal pot. Pots are different in height and due to this difference, a space is formed inside – a container for water.
There are drainage holes in the inner pot through which the water flows into the substrate. LECHUZA-PON draws moisture from a water tank.
A wet zone forms. For the first three weeks, the plant leaves its roots in the wet zone and begins to take the optimal amount of water and fertilizers for itself.
Wick system
Quick and simple, the wick allows you to keep small plants in their pots when planting them in the planter.

Delivery time
We aim to deliver within 2-3 working days. If an order item is on backorder you will receive it within 7-10 working days. Most orders are shipped via premium service provided by DPD Local dpd with a 1-hour slot given on the day of delivery.
Heavy and bulky items are shipped via pallet carrier Palletforce palletforce kerbside and delivered on a nominated delivery date.
Returns and Refund
- You have the legal right to refund if you return your faulty item within 30 days of receiving it.
- Your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace LECHUZA planters under warranty if they are defective or damaged within the warranty period 1 year.
You must follow our planting instructions you receive with your order confirmation. Otherwise, a warranty claim could be declined
Collection orders customers will be called when the item is allocated to our Dunstable warehouse for collection. If you require a next day collection, please call first before ordering, we are distributed over 4 hubs and not all stock is allocated to the collection warehouse
